Welcome to Fallout 4: The Commonwealth Is Waiting
Fallout 4 drops you into a huge post-apocalyptic version of Massachusetts known as the Commonwealth. After emerging from Vault 111, you’re free to explore ruined cities, abandoned buildings, underground shelters, dangerous wastelands, and settlements filled with survivors trying to rebuild their lives.
What makes Fallout 4 so easy to get lost in is the freedom. You can follow the main story, hunt for better weapons and armor, build settlements, modify your gear, meet companions, join different factions, or completely forget what you were supposed to be doing because you spotted an interesting building in the distance. That’s basically the Fallout experience. 🎮
Combat mixes traditional shooting with V.A.T.S., a targeting system that lets you slow the action and target specific parts of an enemy. Outside combat, you’ll spend plenty of time scavenging the Commonwealth for supplies—which explains why Fallout players suddenly get very excited about finding desk fans, duct tape, and typewriters.
Whether you’re returning to Fallout 4 or stepping out of Vault 111 for the first time, the Commonwealth gives you an enormous playground to explore—and Tina Trends is heading in to see just how much trouble she can find.
